What’s a Wellness Coach?

A Wellness Coach serves as an advocate for a client’s wellness goals. A coach and client work together in cultivating new habits that are sustainable and lead to self-sufficiency. This all happens when the client uses their own strengths, skills and values. If a client expresses interest, a health coach can provide science based information and resources as it relates to the goal they are working towards.

  • you are ready to take ownership of your health
  • you would like to use your own strengths to achieve your goals
  • you can envision your healthiest self and would like accountability to get there
  • you see wellness as an on-going practice
  • you are aware that slips and set backs are a natural part of the change process 
  • you want to explore tools to track your progress
  • you are able to commit to a series of at least 6 sessions
  • you want your behaviors to match what you value most

My services do not include and are not a replacement for:

  • diagnosing and treating medical conditions
  • psychological counseling/therapy
